Katie has over 15 years of public accounting experience, the majority of which has been as a part of Carson Group Advanced Solutions Tax & Accounting. She is an Enrolled Agent, which is a credential authorized and earned through the IRS. Not only does she manage tax preparation for individual, business, fiduciary, and benefit plan tax returns, but she also supports adjustment and implementation of internal processes and mentors staff to help achieve their own professional growth goals. She strives to mirror this same mentorship with clients so they can grow both personally and professionally in their lives as well. With her husband being a member of the United States Air Force, she understands the complexities of military life and the tax impacts that can occur. She also works with a number of clients living and working overseas and aids them with filing U.S. tax returns and reporting worldwide income. Her favorite past time is reading, but she also loves spending time outdoors boating, four-wheeling and camping with her husband, two little girls, family and friends.
