Cody has over 11 years of experience in public accounting, beginning his career at Ernst & Young, LLP and more recently serving as a tax advisor and consultant for the wealth management firm Creative Planning, Inc.

He holds a master’s degree in accounting, specializing in taxation, from the University of Missouri – Columbia. Over the course of his career, Cody has managed a diverse range of clients, providing tax services to meet their individual, corporate, pass-through entity, trust, and/or gift taxation needs. He specializes in tax advising on a variety of topics including retirement planning, estate planning and taxation, business entity selection, corporate restructuring, and state nexus review.

Cody works closely with clients to understand their wealth goals and determine a tax strategy that seamlessly integrates with their overall financial plan.

In his free time, he can be found cheering on his favorite Kansas City sports teams, and the Missouri Tigers.
